In 2006, Tara returned to Canada to join her family's entrepreneurial start-up, embarking on a mission to execute a corporate franchise business expansion strategy. The endeavor bore fruit in 2007 when the business opened its doors in British Columbia, with the launch of an extra-provincial franchise in Kelowna.

Driving Small Business Success

For nearly two decades, Tara demonstrated exceptional leadership by spearheading the transformation of a small, single-province franchise business into a thriving nationwide success story. Her expertise extended to consulting on the business model on a global scale. In 2018, she and her team pitched their business on CBC's Dragons' Den, securing offers from three of the formidable "dragons."

Since June 2023, Tara has served on the Board of Directors with the Conservative Party of BC, finding a meaningful and dedicated political home. She eagerly anticipates the opportunity to work with the constituents of Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream, bringing back much-needed common-sense policies to the riding and the province.
