As the Conservative team continues to grow, Chris Moore will bring valuable experience and advocacy to our common sense vision for the province
19 June 2024, VICTORIA, BC: The Conservative Party of BC is pleased to announce that Chris Moore, the former BC United candidate for Powell River-Sunshine Coast, is joining the common sense movement of dedicated British Columbians who want to see a better, safer, and more affordable BC.
"Chris has an outstanding record of service to this community and will be a strong advocate for the people of Powell River-Sunshine Coast," stated Conservative leader John Rustad. "Chris has talked with hundreds of constituents and understands that there are serious concerns in this riding that need to be addressed with clear and definitive actions, and the Conservatives will do just that with Chris as the MLA in this riding."
"I believe that the NDP have done little to address serious problems such as affordability, crime and healthcare. On a daily basis, these issues are getting worse." Said Chris Moore. "I believe the BC Conservatives under the leadership of John Rustad are the only way we can get BC back on track," he added.
As a successful business leader, Chris understands that private and public sector leadership is critical to addressing the housing and affordability crises plaguing our province and preventing us from reaching our full economic potential.
“I have always cared deeply about the issues that the community of Powell River- Sunshine Coast is facing,” said Chris Moore, Conservative Party of BC candidate for Powell River Sunshine Coast. “We have such a beautiful province that shouldn’t be strangled by soaring taxes, ballooning provincial debt and a government that is willing to accept the status quo. I am excited to be joining the BC Conservative Team and look forward to working with John Rustad to clean up the mess the NDP have made”
