About Chris Moore

With over thirty years of experience in property development and marketing, Chris understands the complexities and challenges of balancing the need for development whilst fostering and maintaining a strong sense of community. As a former Councillor in the district of Sechelt, his commitment to his community and province is evident by his service and dedication to the issues that are affecting his riding.

Chris has a diverse background, having worked his way through college as a carpenter, surveyor and cab driver. He has volunteered his time, over many years, as Captain of the Whistler Fire Rescue Service, a coach of youth hockey and the women's fastball league in Roberts Creek and he was chair of the Sunshine Coast Airport Advisory committee. He enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, camping with his adventure motorcycle all the way up to Inuvik and back. He is a serious environmentalist who understands the importance of protecting the natural beauty of our spectacular province.

Chris recognizes the need for significant upgrades to our transportation network and will tirelessly advocate for a more frequent ferry service and a realignment of Highway 101 to better service all communities. The goal will be to create better traffic flow and connectivity between the upper and lower coast with an emphasis placed on public safety.

Chris has a strong sense of family values and, with his entrepreneurial group of children who were inspired by their grandmother, started The Bricker Cider Company, a place which has contributed to the soul of the community. Open to all, it has become a great spot to meet up and is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.

After 19 years of NDP policies not working, clearly it’s time for a change.

With Chris's extensive experience and an unwavering commitment, he is a valuable asset to both the business and the public sectors and TOGETHER, WE CAN BRING COMMON SENSE BACK TO B.C.
