Rustad’s statement follows the latest in a series of gang-related shootings, this time in Langley, which left one person dead and another seriously injured. The escalating violence under the Eby-Trudeau alliance is putting communities in danger, with no meaningful action taken to curb it.

“British Columbians are living in fear as gang violence spirals out of control, and the Eby-Trudeau alliance has done nothing to stop it,” said Rustad. “David Eby and Justin Trudeau are two sides of the same coin—both pushing soft-on-crime policies that allow criminals to operate with impunity. The tragic events in Langley are part of a broader pattern of failure.”

The shooting in Langley, which police believe was a targeted gang-related hit, is just one of many violent incidents making headlines across the province. Rustad pointed out that this rise in gang activity is a direct result of weak leadership from both the provincial and federal governments.
