About Harman Bhangu

Harman Bhangu is honoured to be a first-generation Canadian, born at Surrey Memorial Hospital to an immigrant family that sacrificed their past lives for the liberty and freedoms of our great nation. Langley is Harman’s home, and he is deeply committed to understanding and addressing the unique issues and needs of its residents while advocating for common sense in British Columbia.

Professional Life

With seventeen years of experience in the heavy-load trucking industry, Harman has gained firsthand insight into the challenges posed by government waste and increased taxes. As an aggregate hauler, he handles operations and bids for contracts, playing a crucial role in the construction of the infrastructure and amenities that benefit the community.

Community Engagement and Sports

A life-long sports enthusiast, Harman has learned invaluable lessons on the field. He has dedicated hundreds of hours both as a player and a coach for minor league football. Sports have taught him the importance of teamwork, a principle he applies in his commitment to serving Langley-Abbotsford. Harman is determined to work collaboratively to address the needs of his constituents and help his community thrive.

Commitment to Healthcare and Energy

Harman understands the difficulties of accessing healthcare, having experienced these challenges within his own family. Fixing the gaps in the healthcare system is a top priority for him. Additionally, he believes that filling up a tank of gas shouldn’t require taking out a loan. Canadian energy, the backbone of our nation, should be attainable and affordable for the average Canadian.

Family and Personal Life

Harman attributes his success to the support of his beautiful wife, Courtney, and their two young children. As a father, he understands the pressures faced by young families and is committed to reducing their burdens as an MLA.
