WHY YOU SHOULD BECOME A MEMBER?
- Participate in your local riding association and stand for election to its Board of Directors;
- Attend any Annual or Special General Meeting;
- Vote for, and stand for election as a delegate at any Delegate Selection Meeting, which will then vote for the Party's Officers and Board of Directors;
- Vote in a Candidate Selection (Nomination) Meeting (for electoral districts where a contested nomination is held);
- Join an organization that fosters good government, a belief in individual liberty and freedom, social responsibility, and free-enterprise economic principles.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A MEMBERSHIP, YOU MUST BE;
- A Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada normally residing in the Province of British Columbia.
- At least 14 years of age.
You must also confirm that;
- Your membership fees and donation(s) are paid from your own funds, and no person or organization will reimburse you.
- You are NOT a member of another provincial political party.
- You accept and abide by the Constitution and Bylaws, Policies, and Code of Conduct of the Conservative Party of BC, available here.
