Conservative Party of British Columbia Condemns Eby-Trudeau for Turning a Blind Eye to Dangerous Criminal Activity at Nanaimo Drug Den

September 23rd, Nanaimo, BC: John Rustad, Leader of the Conservative Party of British Columbia, and Gwen O’Mahony, Conservative Candidate for Nanaimo-Lantzville, are calling out the reckless and dangerous policies of the Eby-Trudeau regime following a major drug and weapons bust directly tied to the Nanaimo overdose prevention site. The latest bust is yet another example of how their so-called “safe” drug sites have spiraled out of control, becoming havens for crime and violence in our communities.

O’Mahony was equally critical, condemning the government’s total abandonment of community safety: “Nanaimo residents are living in fear because of the Eby-Trudeau agenda. Their failed policies have allowed these so-called ‘prevention’ sites to become breeding grounds for drug trafficking and illegal weapons. This is not prevention—this is outright negligence, and they should be ashamed.”
The Conservative Party of British Columbia is demanding immediate accountability for the NDP’s role in fostering environments that attract criminal activity under the guise of harm reduction. Rustad and O’Mahony reaffirm their commitment to cleaning up these crime-ridden sites and protecting the people of British Columbia from further harm.
“Enough is enough. British Columbians deserve better than Eby and Trudeau’s reckless, soft-on-crime approach. Our party will never allow this kind of chaos to flourish under our watch,” Rustad concluded.
