Join Michelle for an important townhall meeting on September 17th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the Sheraton Airport on Westminster Highway. This event is dedicated to discussing the challenges faced by families with children and youth who have special needs such as Autism, Dyslexia, and mental health issues.
The current NDP government has done little to provide meaningful support for these families. Our goal for this townhall is to open a much-needed dialogue between families, experts, and organizations working to help children and youth with special needs. We want to hear from you—what works, what doesn’t, and what urgent changes a new government must prioritize to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
Agenda:
6:00pm – 6:15pm: Welcome and Opening Remarks
6:15pm – 6:45pm: Expert Panel Discussion (featuring professionals in Autism, Dyslexia, and
mental health)
6:45pm – 7:30pm: Open Forum: Families and associations share experiences
7:30pm – 8:00pm: What’s Next: How the next government can better support children, youth,
and adults with special needs – open discussions
We need to bring back common sense and solutions to help families, children, youth, and adults with
special needs thrive in our community. Your voice is critical in shaping the changes we want to see.
